As a 1964 graduate of Centralia High School, Kindle was an award winning
school newspaper sports writer. He has since become a
eighteen-time Emmy Award winner as a TV sports director/producer.
In 1980, he joined CBS Sports and in 1994 he moved to the Fox network.
Before retiring in 2002, he produced and
directed such events as NFL football, World
Cup skiing, World Speed Scating
Championships, the Pan American Games, the
tour de France, NCAA basketball, NBA
playoffs, and the Super Bowl XXVI half-time
segment.
His directing and producing career has taken him all over the globe.
In 1986 he received the Director’s Guild
of America’s top award in 1986.
Kindle unexpectedly passed away March 24,
2007.
