An ardent follower of CHS basketball, Hickey traveled all over the state to watch the fabulous CHS teams of the 1940’s.  He didn’t miss a state tourney game for many years.  

Hickey is a member of the IBCA Hall of Fame as a “Friend of Basketball”.
