Played football and basketball
at Centralia High School in 1932, 1933,
1934.
Struck received honorable mention All-State
recognition at half-back for the 1933
season. He went on to fame in the Ivy League at
Harvard University where he was captain of
the basketball team and an All-League
fullback in football. Later he was inducted into the Harvard Hall
of Fame.
