Long time city tennis champion.
Central City School coach for many years,
basketball record of 336-106 his last 17
years. In 1930, he teamed with Virgil “Cuss”
Wilson of Marion to win the “Little
Nineteen” tennis
doubles championship. Inducted
into the I.B.C.A. Hall of Fame in 1980.
